So here we are In May, that's feels so strange to say (and it rhymes!) Spring may be in the air but it's currently a very British rainy and grey bank holiday weekend so it doesn't quite feel like summer is approaching as fast as it is. Whether you are staying indoors and cosy like me, or venturing out for adventures - I hope you have a lovely long weekend and manage to have a break.
We have some absolutely fantastic new arrivals on the website already this month, so of course I just HAVE to show you my favourites. VINTAGE SKIRTS
This amazing floor sweeping maxi skirt is giving us all the vintage Missoni vibes. Zig-zag knit in hues of blue and green, with a fixed waist and maxi flared shape. Fully lined in navy blue. Hook and zip fastening at waist. Wear with a big collared white shirt ans tank top for that authentic 70s look or just add wedges and a bracket for a cute modern look. The knit has fluffed a little over time but only on close inspection and still in very good vintage condition. For more info just tap the image.
Super cute vintage skirt in white cotton printed with bright bold spots in turquoise, red, pink, yellow, purple, green and orange. Thick elasticated waist, flat panel and soft pleating. Appears to be handmade. Soft non stretch cotton. Waist matures 20" unstretched and 30" fully stretched. In very good vintage condition. Just tap the pic to see more.
This kilt skirt from exquisite German label Gerry Weber is just adorable. Tartan pattern in royal blue, red, yellow, green and black with decorative front buckles and pleating. Non stretch and fully lined. So many cute outfit possibilities! In excellent vintage condition. Tap the image for more info.
VINTAGE TOPS
Another great vintage shirt from 1970s St Michael. Rich sapphire blue bold stripes contrasted with beige. Dagger collar and full button front. Polyester fabric with stretch. Long sleeves with button cuffs. Has been well worn but still in very good vintage condition. For more information just tap the image above.
This super cool 80s shirt is bang on trend with bold striping and that perfect fuchsia shade of pink. Full button front with small collar and long sleeves with double buttons at the cuffs. Light and non stretch polyester fabric. There are a few pulls in the fabric on close inspection, this is reflected in the price. Overall in good vintage condition. Just tap for more info.
Strike a pose in the fabulous vintage blouse, complete with pussybow neck tie. Deep purple stripes constructed with silver grey, deep blue and khaki green on a slightly shimmering fabric. Wide sleeves with button cuffs create some volume and full button front. Non stretch. There are a couple of tiny pin size holes at the back of the neck possibly from the label but otherwise in very good vintage condition. Tap the image for more details.
VINTAGE JEWELLERY
Wow, these vintage statement earrings are everything! Large golden discs with ribbed finish, cantered with smooth blue crackled stones. These look amazing with a simple outfit for that stylish impact.Each earring measures approx 2.5" x 2.5". For pierced ears (have been sterilised) In very good vintage condition.
I really love this quirky vintage toucan bird brooch in gold tone metal with black enamel. Diamante detail on the head and a red gem eye. Rollover catch. Measures approx 1.75" full length. In very good vintage condition. More details on the main product page.
Super cute Deadstock vintage brooch of a full stocking leg with little gold bow garter detail. Each one is enameled in either red, blue, purple, brown or cream. Choose your colour from the drop down menu! Small safety pin style pin at the back. Measures approx 2” full length. These are original Deadstock vintage and have been stored away for decade. VINTAGE HOMEWARE/COLLECTIBLES
Collectable vintage 1950s Atomic magazine rack from My Vintage ideal for any vintage and retro collector or home. Gold tone metal frame with 4 red rubber balls to feet. Ornate curved metalwork to each side. Measures approx 13.5" x 13.5”. Good solid piece, highly collectable and perfect for any vintage or retro home. In very good vintage condition. Store your 12" vinyl in this fantastic vintage record case. Uber retro orange textured faux leather with two front locks and cream plastic carry handle. Extends when open to allow easier record finding! Measures approx 13.5” x 12" x 4" (wider when extended) Locks are a little stiff but all fully working. Vintage Mid Century 1950s Atomic coat/hat hooks/rack with black acorn shaped ends on a white frame with wall fixings. Measures approx 18" wide x 8" high. Well used but in good overall vintage condition with some rust and marks that add character and retro appeal or could be repainted to really bring it to life, a fantastic addition to any vintage or retro inspired home.
