No, you aren't seeing things it really is September 2021 already! Autumn is fast approaching and we will be enjoying darker cosier nights and wrapping up in layered looks before we know it. I have to admit that I am not the biggest fan of summer and autumn/winter are my absolute favourite seasons so I am pretty excited. It's been another crazy busy few weeks at My Vintage HQ and lots of goodies have been added to the website and put out in the shop. VINTAGE DRESSES
This amazing funky sixties mod dress makes a real statement in bright yellow and navy blue with chunky polka dot pattern. Shaped top with a-line skirt and piping around neckline and sleeve holes. Polyester fabric with a slight stretch and back zip fastening. Just add boots and you're good to go! In very good vintage condition.
Stunning vintage boho/prairie/cottage core maxi dress. Pretty pastel printed fabric in mixed tones of beige, pink, purple, orange and green. Lace fronted with white lace and simple high round neckline. Long sleeves with elasticated cuffs and self fabric ties to cinch in the waist and tie at the back. Sheer fabric, could bend it from an underslip. Fastens with a back zip and non stretch. In very good vintage condition.
We just love this cute sixties dress with awesome flower power print! Perfect retro colour palette of rich purple, brown and pink. Short sleeves and loose slightly flared style. Made from a light polyester/nylon fabric with a little stretch. Simple pull on style with popper modesty button and cute double collar. Light and easy to wear. In very good vintage condition.
This beautiful and unusual vintage maxi dress is in a very pretty shade of mint green. Loose tiered style with strappy straps and simple straight neckline. The light polyester fabric is stretchy so this will fit a range of sizes. Fastens with a back zip and in good vintage condition.
VINTAGE TOPS
Stunning vintage boho top from 1970s St Michael. The poly cotton fabric has the appearance of stubbed linen and the peplum detail gives a contemporary feel. Pretty blue floral embroidery to the front and embroidered shirring at the shoulders and peplum waist. Long sleeves with elasticated cuffs. Small button fastening at the back of the neck. Non stretch material. Looks fantastic with jeans. In very good vintage condition.
This fab vintage waistcoat top has been handmade from a mustard, white and gold boucle fabric with a full white silky lining. Scooped neckline and four chunky front gold buttons. Finished with two faux pocket details. Looks great work over a fitted shirt with a big collar. In very good vintage condition.
Quirky and unusual little vintage top in classic black and white. Triangular shape with deep pointed front hem and polka dot front insert panel with rounded neckline. The same insert at the back with an unusual curved split back. This looks great with jeans or trousers. Made from quite a thick polyester fabric with slight stretch. In very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE BEAUTY
Super cool vintage gift set from the iconic Max Factor. Comprises metal talc tin and six bath cubes - the old fashioned bath bombs! The packaging is in chic black and gold and is totally unused. A really amazing and rare piece. Outer box approx 8.5" x 6.5". In very good vintage condition.
Amazing mid century vintage beauty box from Sirram. This is such a beautiful and collectable piece from the 1950s that has never been used. Brown mock skin outer case with gold tone handle and hinged lock. The contents are a gorgeous minty green colour with two hinged compartment lids at the sides. Other contents comprises four ribbed plastic bottles with gold lids, three small ribbed plastic pots with green and gold lids and a gold and green metal pot. The underside of the lid is a full mirror. This is perfect for traveling or a dressing table and would also make a fantastic gift. Outer case measures approx 10” x 6.5”. In original outer cardboard box with Sirram label. Excellent condition.
A very beautiful and collectable item that would make a fantastic gift for someone special. Deep brown velvet case in a semi circle shape with two front hinge locks. Inside is a golden lining with a mirror and 10 nail care items including nail files, scissors etc. Case measures approx 10" x 7" and outer box measures approx 10.5" x 7.5". Such an amazing set that looks totally unused. In very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE JEWELLERY
Super cool vintage necklace from the 1970s with an awesome Sagittarius pendant with retro lettering and archer symbol centred with black enamel. Very delicate in silver tone metal with a simple lobster clasp fastener. Measures approx 16" long. Looks unworn, in very good vintage condition.
Awesome 80s/90s vibes with these big chunky gold-tone earrings. Clip-on style in perfect half spheres with textured finish. Very lightweight metal, sit comfortably on the ears. Each earring is approx 1.5" wide. Worn but in very good vintage condition.
Gorgeous boho vibes with this original 70s necklace. Chunky polished stone in a light amber-tone, on a thin gold-tone necklace approx 17" long. On close inspection it doesn't seem to be the original chain but still looks great on. In very good vintage condition.
