Whilst January felt like the longest month of all time, February seemed to last about 3 minutes! But despite my complete confusion, we are definitely in March already! And as always we have been busy beavering away here at My Vintage HQ getting lots of new arrivals onto the website. We take time prepping items first from cleaning, stitching, repairing, steaming, pressing and sanitising before we take and edit the photographs. Then each item of course has to be individually measured and descriptions written up before the whole thing comes together and the online listing is created on the website. We also sell on other platforms such as eBay, Etsy and Depop but you will always find the best prices direct on our website and the first reveal of all new arrivals. So without further a do, let's delve into the New Vintage Arrivals for March 2022...
VINTAGE DRESSES
Wow! Pure sixties psychedelic vibes with this amazing flower power shift dress. This super cool print is in vivid shades of green, pink, blue and purple. Simple boxy shape with darted bust. Non stretch poly cotton fabric. Label is DeLuxe - British Empire Made. No fastenings, pull on and off style. In very good vintage condition.
Turn heads at any party with this gorgeous short and cute seventies dress. Vivid emerald green jewel tone with super pretty skinny straps in silver with tiny pearl bead detail. Sweetheart neckline with darted bust and fit and flare shape. Made from polyester fabric with slight stretch. Fastens with a back zip. In very good vintage condition.
Step out in style with this awesome sixties vintage dress. Classic navy blue with contrasting cream roll neck, front buttons and unusual belt that cinches the waist and fastens at the back. Sleeveless and made from a polyester fabric with stretch. Fastens with a back zip. Some slight discolouration to the inside of the collar but generally in very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE HANDBAGS
This is just so cute! Original 1960s vintage basket bag with bright deckchair style fabric sides and adorable felt appliqué apples. Compact and boxy, with elasticated top to ease opening. Measures approx 10" x 9.5" x 4" and in very good vintage condition - looks unused.
Stunning vintage clutch bag from the iconic Jane Shilton. Black leather with grey, cream and black panels in genuine snakeskin to front and plain black leather back. Snap clasp fastening and black interior lining with Jane Shilton embroidery. Main compartment and one internal zipped pocket. Complete with removable black leather shoulder strap. Measures approx 10” x 6” with a 23” strap drop. In very good vintage condition.
This is such a beautiful vintage evening bag from the late 1950s. Structured boxy style in cream satin with the most stunning starburst style beaded design in cream and bronze. The bag and handle are also delicately edged with tiny pearl beads. Opens up to 2 internal compartments - one zipped. Small label printed Empire Made. Measures approx 8.5" x 4.5". In very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE MENSWEAR
Super smart vintage jacket from the revered Dunn & Co. Rich grey checkered with olive green and blue, in a shorter length with full zip front. Simple and stylish with two front pockets and plain cuffs. Lined in olive green. Label is 'Double Jersey - Crimplene for Men'. There are a couple of small pulls on close inspection but generally this jacket is in very good vintage condition.
This is a great vintage tank top from the high street favourite C&A. Striped design in grey and deep blue with red snowflake style design. Sleeveless V-neck style in stretch acrylic and nylon knit. Some bobbling as to be expected but generally in very good vintage condition.
Cool retro sportswear in the form of this great track jacket from the iconic Ellesse. Deep olive green full zip jacket with horizontal stripes in burgundy and Ellesse logo on chest. Classic metal zipper with Ellesse logo. Slight stretch to the substantial fabric and ribbed collar, hem and cuffs. In very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE JEWELLERY
Stunning and heavyweight glass beads in rich amber tone tigers eye style. Very long length, approx 48" in total. Can be worn in many different ways, a great vintage piece. In very good vintage condition.
Very chunky and substantial antique bracelet from the turn of the century. Alternate single link and double twisted links all in silver metal. Large fob hangs with twin mother of pearl centres. Measures approx 8" long and fastens with lobster clasp. In very good vintage condition.
Super cute choker style necklace in twisted bugle beads. The striking azure blue colour is stunning with many different outfits. Fastens with a metal screw clasp. Measures approx 15" total length. In very good vintage condition.
