A good choice of vintage handbag will see you through many years, if not decades, of outfits. If you choose super wisely you can even find a great vintage bag that can take you from daytime to evening. However, if you are obsessed with vintage bags then you may just prefer to collect a bag for every possible outfit and colour combination (yes, I am speaking from personal experience!)

This week, I am bringing you my Top Ten Vintage Bags from our current available selection. Whether for you or a gift for someone else; there is something for everyone so let's get straight into it...
1 - 1970s Vintage Brown Snake Trim Shoulder Bag £28
Compact and stylish shoulder bag in a soft deep brown leather with a snake effect motif and trim. Inner label says 3Z by Zago Fabio. Saddle shape lays flat but can open out to a wider style if needed. Shoulder strap is attached by two inner popper buttons so can be removed. Bag measures approx 8" x 8" at widest points with a maximum depth of approx 3". The strap is adjustable with a belt style buckle so the drop can be from approx 19" - 22". There are a couple of scratches on the bag but generally it is in very good vintage condition.
2 - 1970s Vintage Purple Patchwork Pouch Bag £24
We love this cute vintage pouch bag in purple patchwork fabric, with patches of plain and floral prints. Chunky wooden carry handles. Perfect for knitting, sewing, craft supplies or as a funky vintage handbag. In very good vintage condition.
3 - 1930s Vintage Czech Monochrome Beaded Purse/Bag £68
This is a stunning handmade wooden bead purse from the 1930s, made in Czechoslovakia. The glossy black and white beads create this stylish and versatile monochrome effect. Pouch style with petite carry handle and button and loop front closure. Small extra pocket in the black inner fabric. Measures approx 8.5" x 6" not including handle. This beautiful bag is in very good vintage condition.
4 - 1980s Vintage Chiltern Dark Brown Leather Handbag £48
Chiltern handbags are very sought after and collectable and it is easy to see why. Timelessly stylish and super versatile as well as excellently crafted from quality genuine leather. This is a stylish shoulder bag in glossy dark brown leather with gold tone fixings. Front panel with Chiltern lettering and logos in gold tone metal. Very sturdy and unusual front hinged buckle detail. Adjustable belt style shoulder strap which is fully removable. There are four internal compartments, two of which are zipped. Measures approx 13” x 8” x 4”. This is is excellent vintage condition and looks only very lightly used.
5 - Vintage 1980s Tapestry Shoulder Saddle Bag £18
Cute small saddle bag made from tan faux leather with tapestry style fabric panels. Rounded saddle shape with bronze push and slide lock to the front. Adjustable shoulder strap with belt style fastening. Pouch measures approx 8.5" x 7.5" and strap drop approx 22". Deep red nylon lining with an added zipped pocket. In very good vintage condition.
6 - 1950s Vintage Folky Floral Vinyl Handbag £44
Stunning and very unique handbag from the 1950s in a vinyl coated card with chunky red stitching. Beautiful floral pattern in a distinct folk style - super pretty in hues of red, blue and green. Structured and durable with rubber coated cord carry handles and simple front button fastening. Measures approx 14" x 8" x 4.5" with a 7" strap drop.
7 - 1970s Vintage Pastel Floral Pouch Bag £24
Pretty and cool vintage pouch bag in a pastel floral printed fabric in pink, orange, blue and green. Gathered top and plastic tortoiseshell style carry handles. Measures approx 16" x 15". Perfect for knitting, sewing, craft supplies or as a funky vintage handbag. In very good vintage condition.
8 - 1970s Vintage Grey Messenger Satchel Sports Bag £30
Stylish and practical vintage bag from the 1970s, with bags of retro charm. Deep grey textured faux leather with full zip fastening and full side open pocket. Finished with decorative trims in black and a badge with logo and text for Mat Roselli. Fully removable shoulder strap. Measures approx 15” x 11” x 5”. In very good vintage condition.
9 - 1960s Vintage Black Twist Lock Handbag £32
Classic boxy handbag in black leather, with sturdy carry handle.Gold metal front clasp in twist-lock style. Concertina style, opens out with 6 internal compartments, two of these are zipped but the zips are quite degraded and don't work well. Includes a handbag mirror. Measures approx 10" x 8" x 3.5" with a handle drop of approx 5.5". some signs of age including slight scratched in places; but still in good vintage condition.
10 - 1980s Vintage Cream Faux Leather Clutch Bag £22
A typically 80s glamorous vintage clutch bag with removable shoulder strap. Made from a warm tone cream faux leather in rectangular envelope style with gathering detail on the flap. Goldtone metal popper button fastening. Fabric lining with small extra pouch. Clutch bag measures approx 10.5" x 6" and strap drop is approx 16". In very good vintage condition.
