Finally the promise of spring is upon us and there are brighter skies, longer nights and of course, new outfits to put together. Whether it's plans with friends, date days, work wear or mini breaks; there are so many opportunities to create beautiful new looks for spring and we have some gorgeous options for you to consider. Spring fashion is all about bringing more colour and print to our wardrobes and using thinner layers to create versatile looks for daytime and evening wear.
For this week's blog, I have chosen some amazing vintage fashion pieces from My Vintage, that are perfect to dd to your spring wardrobe. As always, there is a good range of sizes, styles and budgets to browse and a lot of these awesome items can be mixed with pieces you already own to make brand new fresh spring looks. 1970s Vintage Pink Beaded Tea Jumper Size 10 £24
Super cute tea jumper in pale pink pique knit. Round neck and decorative bib detailing with tiny pearl beads. Short sleeves and ribbed hem. Looks great with jeans or teamed with a vintage skirt and cardigan for perfect twinset twee! Stretch acrylic knit. In very good vintage condition.
1960s Vintage St Michael Aqua Printed Mod Dress Size 10 £45
Fantastic vintage St Michael mod dress in vivid aqua blue with retro pattern in blue, lime green and purple. High neck sleeveless style with darted bust. Made from a thin silky crimplene fabric with some stretch. Fastens with a back zip. Some very slight bobbling on close inspection but generally in very good vintage condition.
Retro Daniel Hechter Tropical Kitten Heel Mules UK 7/EU 40 £22
Bright and beautiful, we love these tropical inspired mules from Daniel Hechter. Slip on strappy style with delicate kitten heels. Genuine leather uppers in vivid teal blue, lime green, citrus yellow and orange. Heel measures approx 2". Sole measures approx 10.5" x 3.5". Stamped size 40 so UK size 7. Scuffing to one heel but overall in very good vintage condition.
Original 1990s Vintage Large Tapestry Overnight Bag £40
We absolutely love this large weekend/overnight bag from the 1990s in super pretty floral tapestry design. Black faux leather edgings and carry handles with full zip fastening at the top. Measures approx 15" x 12" x 8". Looks hardly used, in very good vintage condition.
1990s Vintage Cream Crepe Trousers Size 12 £28
Beautiful wide leg trousers in cream crepe fabric - super luxurious and stylish. Made in Italy by Tuzun. Non stretch with fixed waist and belt loops. Front button and zip fastening. Concealed side pockets. Small turn ups finish this chic pair of vintage trousers. In very good vintage condition.
1980s Vintage Silky Floral Jacket Size 14/16 £30
This gorgeous vintage jacket is in classic black with large rose floral print in green, blue and pink. Soft single breasted blazer style with two large front pockets and two black buttons to fasten. The labels seems to have been cut but this is from 1980s St Michael. Soft silky fabric, easy to wear. Looks great with jeans and a t-shirt. Non stretch. In very good vintage condition.
1960s Vintage Candy Bead Necklace £18
This cute and kitsch 60s necklace looks almost good enough to eat with these candy pink and white beads and discs. Fastens with simple lobster clasp. Measures approx 24" long. In very good vintage condition.
1980s Vintage Teal Polka Dot Blouse UK Size 16 £20
Funky 80s blouse in crossover style with collar and cute side-tie. Rich teal with big black polka dots. Concealed buttons for a secure fit. Some stretch. Some fuzzing but generally in very good vintage condition.
1950s Vintage Lemon Brocade Swing Dress Size 12 £95
Feel like a pastel princess from the 1950s with this beautiful original vintage dress. Soft lemon brocade fabric with classic fitted bodice, cinched waist and box pleated full swing skirt. Sleeveless with split neck design and back zip fastening. Non stretch fabric. Can be worn with or without a net petticoat. In very good vintage condition.
1990s Vintage Lotus Gold Mesh Mules UK 5.5/EU 38.5 £32
These amazing vintage shoes from infamous shoemakers Lotus have real contemporary feel. Slip on mules with chunky gold block heels and mesh uppers trimmed with gold snake effect leather. Leather uppers. Marked UK size 5.5 and provided in original box. Style on box is Corona no 583595. Sole measures approx 9.5" x 3.5" with a 3" heel. In very good vintage condition.
1950s Vintage Folky Floral Vinyl Handbag £44
Stunning and very unique handbag from the 1950s in a vinyl coated card with chunky red stitching. Beautiful floral pattern in a distinct folk style - super pretty in hues of red, blue and green. Structured and durable with rubber coated cord carry handles and simple front button fastening. Measures approx 14" x 8" x 4.5" with a 7" strap drop.
1970s Vintage Green Pleated Midi Skirt Size 12/14/16 £28
Beautiful vintage pleated midi skirt in a vivid apple green tone. Silky fabric with thick elasticated waistband and decorative button detailing down each side. Stretch waist but non stretch fabric. Can be dressed up with heels, fitted top and belt or dressed down with a baggy sweatshirt and trainers. One small mark but generally in very good vintage condition.
