Original 1930s Vintage Borsalino Navy Crochet Bag & Skull Cap

This is a striking and rare 2-piece set from the 1930s. Navy blue thick crochet knit for both matching handbag/purse and skull cap (sometimes known as a beanie). The cap is designed to sit further back on the head and has a circumference of approx 19". Handbag is a simple pouch style with a carry handle and fringed detail to front and back. The bag measures approx 7.5" x 8". There is a small printed button inside the cap which is marked in gold with BORSALINO ALESSANDRIA. These pieces seem to be unused or very lightly used and are in excellent vintage condition with no damage.
