Original 1940s Vintage Black Sequin Evening Dress Size 12/14

This beautiful vintage dress from the 1940s is pure class and elegance. Classic black taffeta-style fabric with stunning beading and sequins at the top and straps, that glimmers with muted tones of purple and green. The waistline dips down with a v-shaped front seam which leads to the pleated detailing on the hips, creating that coveted hourglass figure. Non stretch fabric with back zip fastening. There are no internal labels so this appears to have been hand made and is likely to have been a very exclusive couture piece. On close inspection there are some areas of wear, where the fabric has become a little shiny but in general this is in good vintage condition.
